Watch: Antonio Banderas sings as King Herod in a new Journey to Bethlehem featurette
"It's so stinking good to be king," says the biblical tyrant.
It’s good to be king. Mel Brooks said so. Tom Petty said so.
Now it’s King Herod’s turn.
The biblical tyrant is played by Antonio Banderas in Journey to Bethlehem, the Nativity musical that comes out next month, and today the studio released a new featurette that focuses, in part, on his performance of a song called, yes, ‘It’s Good to Be King’.
You can watch the featurette here:
The video also gives us another brief look at Joel Smallbone as Herod’s son Antipater, who got a featurette of his own a couple weeks ago.
You’ll be able to hear the entire song when the soundtrack comes out November 3.
The movie itself is coming to theatres November 10, i.e. three weeks from now.
