Time to update the scripture index, now that I’ve finished analyzing Season 2!
Like many Jesus movies, particularly those that harmonize the four gospels, The Chosen takes bits and pieces from the New Testament and rearranges them to tell its own story. It is also full of references to the past and future, as characters quote the Old Testament while doing things that foreshadow the later parts of the New Testament. (Two episodes even have scenes set during the time of Acts!)
In my analysis of the first two seasons of The Chosen, I have pointed out all the scripture references that I could detect, noting which passages the episodes dramatized and which passages were referenced and foreshadowed. I have also cited many other scriptures along the way, pointing out how the episodes lined up, or didn’t, with parts of the Bible that have not been referenced so far in the series.

You put out a questionnaire, presumably to continue to string us along about what we would prefer as you move back to finishing the promised Chosen Scripture references and commentaries. There is still no movement on these yet you continue to work on other content. Is your plan to go from show to show grabbing subscribers only to leave then in the lurches as you then jump to new shows to increase the numbers while never actually satisfying anyone? I and others are feeling very used here.
It has been 2-1/2 years since any new Scripture Indexes have been produced. This appears to be well beyond "a busy few months (and a busy year in general.)" Episode recaps are nice but we can always watch them for ourselves. The thing that is far more valuable for those of us who are teaching Bible studies based on The Chosen are the Scripture Indexes. This is the content that enticed me (and many others it seems) to subscribe. I'm starting to feel like this subscription was a bait and switch.
