Interview: Deaf Missions filmmaker Joseph D. Josselyn on making a Jesus movie in American Sign Language

Josselyn's previous credits, as producer and/or director, include the feature-length The Book of Job (2018) and the biblical short film Uncondemned (2019).

Jesus: A Deaf Missions film—the first feature-length Jesus film in which the characters deliver all of their dialogue in American Sign Language (ASL)—opened in select theatres across the US today.

The film was produced by Deaf Missions, a Christian ministry that has been serving the Deaf community since the 1970s. Their other recent projects include:
