Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), Dr Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey), and a pterosaur egg in Jurassic World: Rebirth.

A few of this week’s highlights:

  • Jurassic World: Rebirth—the first of the seven Jurassic movies that doesn’t feature any actors from the original Jurassic Park—had a five-day opening on par with the three-and-a-half day openings of the last two Jurassic World movies.

  • F1 is now the top-grossing Apple movie both domestically and worldwide, and it is also the top-grossing live-action race-car movie worldwide.

  • How to Train Your Dragon has now outgrossed all three of the animated How to Train Your Dragons in North America (but only one of them overseas).

  • Elio, which already had the lowest first and second weekends of any theatrical Pixar film, now has the lowest third weekend, as well.

  • Lilo & Stitch is now the top-grossing live-action film of the year worldwide.

  • This Is Spinal Tap, which got a specialty re-release for its 41st anniversary, cracked the top ten for the first time in its history.
